UIC SUAA Fall Forum: The Impact of Higher Education on the Illinois Economy

Join the SUAA for this important conversation with leaders in education and metropolitan development.  UI President Dr. Timothy Killeen and Peter Skosey, former Executive Vice President of the Metropolitan Planning Council (MPC), will share their perspectives and welcome your questions about the future of Illinois.

12:00 p.m. Arrivals, Networking

12:30 p.m. Informal complimentary lunch.  Share your opinions and brainstorm about our activities for the coming year, including future program events, legislative issues, health insurance and more. Ideas will be summarized by a UIC SUAA Board member at your table so that we can serve our membership better.

1:15 p.m. President of the statewide SUAA, Larry Alferink, will talk briefly about “the importance of SUAA” and hear some of your lunchtime suggestions.

1:30 p.m. Introduction of panelists by the moderator, UIC SUAA President Brenda Russell.

Presentation: “Impact of of higher education on the Illinois economy”

President Killeen and Peter Skosey will each speak for a brief period and then will take questions from the audience.
